Chris Haueter is a 6th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a member of the famed “Dirty Dozen” (the first 12 non-Brazilian black belts). He is also the owner and founder of Combat Base Jiu Jitsu. 

In this episode, we discuss Chris’ early start in Jiu Jitsu, and how it has evolved over the years. He also shares his perspective on the first major wave of Jiu Jitsu as it occurred in the U.S. Finally, Chris talks about his philosophy surrounding the sport and its application to both street and competition training.
